| Keeping torts in the northeast can be very challenging but if you love your pets and are committed to giving them the best care possible it can be done... what is your way of keeping your reptiles healthy through the winter? I do it with a green house, attached to an outdoor pen and a winter tort shed attached to the green house. it extends their season in the sun by a couple months on each end. then in the coldest of monthds they are toasty warm in their heated shed. I used to bring them inside for the winter but they are getting to big and they enjoy the larger area to roam and dig.
