| This is an absolutely horrible story (see link). I can't believe that anyone, much less a seven year old, would do such a thing. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/7649876.stm

Thats just unbelievable and cruel. To think someone would take risks and time to harm living creatures for no reason at all. He should be punished, and I bet he will.

i hope the parents get sued or something. Thats what is probably going to happen. But should it? I think that the kid should get sued. Sure it might take severaly years worth of allowance and Christmas money to pay off, but why should the parents be sued (assuming that they had nothing to do with it)?

It's too bad they can't punish him either ( because he's under 10 years old) Too bad they can't lock him up so he can't see the light of day. And the parents should get time too for raising him!

As for what any article says, the parents had nothing to do with it. Punish the kid. Hes 7 years old, old enough to work for some ca$h somewhere.

well think about this
First i am not familiar with aussie laws even though i was there for 3 weeks. But i am pretty sure like us they have child labor laws with the only job he really could do is a lemonade stand. Really i think the parents should be sued. I mean they are his parents and supposed to be keeping an eye on him.
