"In my line of work I come across these kids....and the adults that they have become. The statistics are that children that torture animals or perform acts of cruelty at a young age, have a 95% chance of becoming a wife abuser/husband abuser, child abuser, animal abuser, rapist, serial killer, or just plain old mass murderer. It is the "rush" they get off on while having the "god" mentality. To take another living beings life is an awesome act....and at 7 years old he already has some serious issues. If his parents were concerned about him they would not allow the child to be out at that hour ALONE! You can not tell me that his family has never seen something strange or weird about his behavior prior to this incident. He should be treated like the animals he tortured and his parents should pay restitution to the zoo."

The above post was made on another forum not by me, but I feel it sums up my feelings well.  Personally, I wish the croc would have just made a nice meal of the boy to prevent future loss of life.

FWIW, I got my butt wooped big time when I was a child when I was caught using a magnifying glass on pill bugs.  I'm sure I wouldn't have lived to this age if I would have done something like this boy did.

He tried to get over to the croc exhibit. He would have been in for a surprise when that croc came rushing out of the water.

1.0.1 leopard gecko (Athena and Apollo)

Yea i wiah the croc had gotten that kig himself, that would make me feel a whole lot better for those innocent creatures.  Especially the brearded dragons that were near and dear to my heart.  I can't believe ke killed them all with a rock, thats just horrible.  And i cant believe he threw a 20 year goanna over the fence to the crocs.  Thats cruel.  and i wonder how he could pick up a lizard that sixe without being scared of it, mush less throw it.   If that kid was in the states with me i guarantee you personally that he woulnt be doing anything like that again

My Awesome Herps

2 Bearded Dragons  Yogi and Boo Boo

1 Desert Iguana  Slash

3 Fire Bellied Toads

Say that again. I wonder what the people who were viewing the croc at that time thought when a bunch of animals started flinging over the side of the enclosure. They probably thought is was a zoo keeper feeding it its normal food, nothing out of the ordinary.
