I just got the desember isue of reptiles monthly. And guess what i saw! I saw in the whos who in reptiles part, a guy called bryan fry. He discovered that the saliva has not toxic bactirea but deadly venom. We were wrong!!!!!! This discover is really inconvenent. Becouse of this discovery, books need to be re-writen, theroys are now dead, ets. What do you think?

I was already aware of the discovery, but I did see the article too. And thats science, new things are discovered all the time, so books become outdated very quickly.

I take it you are talking about kamodo dragon. And like herpdude said this kind of stuff happens all the time.

like everyone said people are always making discoveries like this & we don't know alot about varanids compared to other genuses so everyones been expecting something new to come up

have you ever wondered why most people despise and are scared there head off scared of reptile especially snakes because little is known about reptiles compared to soft skins and the story of THE GARDEN OF EDEN has completely obliterated the reputation for ever to the most amazing animals on EARTH REPTILES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
