| Thinking on getting an amazon tree boa. I relize they are nippy and am up for the challenge. So was wondering if they could be kept in a rubbermaid tub to keep adequate humidity. Or should it be in an glass cage. Any advice would be great! Thanks.

They can be kept in a rubbermaid, just remember that they are arboreal and hight will be more important than floor space. They also, unlike gtps or etbs, should have perches that are either very thick, or are 2 branches side by side. They like to lay on a wider area.

| Rubbermaid tubs are great for these arboreals and their humidity, much easier to control than in glass enclosures to be honest!! ATB's tend to like forked perch spots especially well, depending on the size of atb that you wind up with you can set them up very nicely in a large tub. Definitely go for height, I pick up tall tubs at Office Supply stores and frequently keep snakes that cost me thousands of dollars in $5 tubs, can't argue with what's working.

| Vertigal space is more improtant than horizontal space (for obvious reasons), you can keep them in various kinds of containers from plastic to glass to some sort of self construsted one. They can be very visually appealing animals, but when it comes to interacting with them...

I have a GTP and I have her in an Exoterra vivarium. its glass with a screen top. to keep the humidity in all i had to do was to put a piece of tinfoil over part of the top. and it works great!! all i have to do is mist her 2 times a day and the humidity stays around 75 to 80%.
