I wouldn't call this weird, but one day my gopher snake went after a live mouse. It ran underneath the water dish with the snake in hot pursuit. After the mouse dug itself out from underneath the bowl, the snake slammed it into the side of the water bowl and just kept pressing till it was dead. Note that the snake did this by feel. His head was under the water bowl. In the wild gophers kill rodents by pressing them into the walls of their burrows. It was cool to witness this behavior in captivity.

| hi bella i was wondering when i would see one of your posts. now, about the snake thing, uhhhhhhhhhhhh, oh yeah once when i was feeding my bp vicky she missed the mouse and grabbed my index finger and wouldent let go!!!! and i didnt want to pry her off cuz i might hurt her teeth. so she gets her entire body off the cage floor and wraps in a big ball around my hand and doesnt let go for a few minuets!!! thank god i was wearing thick, cowhide gloves!!! oh yea, also, DO NOT try to pour aocohol on a snake when it accidentaly bites you at feeding time unless you have to especaly with a finicky feeder because it will accoicate trying to eat with its mouth hurting. BUT IF YOU HAVE TO BY ALL MEANS DO especaly with large constrictors.
