This would be considered hijacking.

Please start your own thread if you have questions about iggy care.

In brief - iggs get 6ft long on average and require a very large tank that is 6-8ft long x 4-6feet wide x 4-6feet tall. Ideally a small room is best.

I agree what mim said. Also the branches should be thick or maybe a little thicker then they are so they can lay on them with out breaking them. All the stuff sounds preaty good though with the plants and stuff. They feel safer with all that.

Also about the vine thing. You should try to find thick vines so if your iguana desides to try and climb them they won't fall and would be able to grip easer. Here is an idea to make them thicker sence I have to do it with all of my iguanas. You should buy like five vines and like brade thim or twist them together so they are stronger then by something strong to hold them up or do what you want.Just tilling what I do.

i saw some vines in the reward center so yeah he could do that

sorry, 'bout the hijacking got carried away, i would really like a lizard that doesn't take up too much space because i don't exactley have that room for an iggy and he wouldn't be that happy

NO REAL PLANTS!! S/he'll eat them and that isn't good for them or for the look of the cage. Michael's and Walmart have some excellent plastic/silk plants to make the cage beautiful!

What kind of cage are you getting? It's NEVER to early to get/make an adult size cage with at least one side that is wire, so he can climb, and a door that you can enter to get it in or out, and so you can go in and clean up easily. There is a VERY strong wire that is rectangular and small enough that it won't get caught in it, can climb it easily, and is strong enough for the largest adult iguana forever. Ask at Home Depot/Lowe's and they can show you. Building the cage is all the fun! You can make it however you like, but don't forget shelves, wire ladders, lacquering the plywood, putting down linoleum on the floor...

The baby will need a lot of plants in one area, to start with, to hide in. You'll be glad that you made the adult cage right away and never have to deal with it again. Here's the best guide you can ever get by Melissa Kaplan, telling about everything you need to know...an 80 page book to guide you through everything:
http://www.anapsid.org/iguana/icfs/index.html

Download the PDF and Adobe Reader will open up. I just finished making the Iguana Salad and cut up little bits of the greens for Marnie in the morning.

It's really a LOT of fun to make all of this stuff for your baby...you'll love your iguana all the more, as you created everything for it!

Good luck and good health!
