Well now the number is up to 109 tarantulas. These we got a couple of weeks ago. This is a female H. maculata.

C. meridionlis

We finally dug up our OBT

Still think the OBT is defective. When we dug it up it didn't give a threat display or anything. The next day back down in it's hole.

Bearded Dragon
2 Viper Geckos
Sinaloan Milksnake

1 trap door spider
8 scorpions

7 gallon nano reef tank
125 gallon freshwater tank.

that obt looks kind of smaller maybe that is why it is defective = / and your h mac is a fatty... I will be breeding mine in a week when she hardens up from her molt = ) hopefully I'll have a sac shortly.

We didn't have anything to do with the fatty H. maculata, we got her that way. I 'll have to take a picture of our $300 tarantula. I could have killed hubby for that one.

At that show he bought a Brachypelma baumgarteni for $300, a Ceratogyrus meridionalis for $125 and another sling(not sure which one) for $15. The show before that he spent $200 on a Brachypelma schroederi. He has spent $300 at one show but he came home with a few more tarantulas. We estimated that he has spent $5000.00 since May 31, 2007 on tarantulas alone not including housing, substrate, food and $200 on new selves. He jokes that he gets the jitters before he sees his dealers and then he's itchy after he gets his tarantula fix. . I can tell you are  addicted as well. I really was going to buy an Avicularia fasciculata 1/2"-3/4" sling for $100 but I think that I will pass.
