Snakes get a bad rap enough. Call animal control, people. It has just as much right to live as you. Why do so many people hate snakes. The enviorment would collapse without them, if humans don't destroy it first. In Genesis, God toldus to take care of the world including, life not our own. But whats your opinion??????

I would not kill it. They have as much right to live there as you do. If it bothers you that bad then like the others said get a professional to remove it, but dont kill it.

Well first you need to take photos to an experienced herpetologist in order to identify the snake then if it is not dangerous and not bothering you leave it alone if it's dangerous, like a rattler, or is interfeering with your daily life call a professional

Before you call animal control find out what the local policy is.  In my area AC will show up at the door with a shovel to chop the head off and then dispose.

I have relocated rattlers in my area for over 20 years now.... once of my greatest feelings of satisfaction even though I know that it's very tough for them to re-establish themselves.  The odds are still bette than facing the shovel though.

Snake vs shovel. I think the snake losses this most of the time. Good call on giving them a chance to relocate.

If their going to do that, what's the difference than doing it to a dog running around. Don't you agree people show compassion to lots of animals, but not snakes?
