I want my bullfrog to be healthy, but she isnt eating the fish in her tank. Where, when, and what do I feed to her?

Save a tree, eat a beaver!

I have: 1-House Gecko (Salad)

2-Green anoles (Green, Sail)

1-Brown Anole (Spike)

3-Leopard Geckos (Orlo, Naginie, Abrams)

1-unknown toad (Molette)

1-Yellow Bellied Slider (Ted)

1-African Side Necked Turtle (Ed)

2- Oriental Fire-Bellied Toads (Pink, Floyd)

Bullfrogs are garbage cans and will eat anything they can stuff into their mouths. A staple diet of insects like crickets, mealworms, waxworms, roaches, earthworms will work well. All insects should be dusted with calcium powder every couple of feedings and vitamin powder once a week. You can offer an appropriate sized mouse every few weeks. Don't overdo it with the mice. A high rodent diet can lead to obesity.

Bull frogs are the cane toads of the frog world. They will eat anything they can fit in there mouth. A nice balenced diet of crickets and a few meal worms are good too. Also, remember not to feedd them to many fatty foods. Obesity can be a health hazard.

I live by Xtreme rules.

Ha, what can i say, some people have drugs, i have herps.

So, people call me a strange duck, ebay, killer, on the chain junky!!

ooo i like bullfrogs, my man wouldnt let me keep the huge female i got last year but she was beautiful

with bullfrogs as long as they have enough space to move around and hide and feel happy and safe they enjoy their food imensly

like everyone else said they eat everything smaller than them

they will eat any feeders you can buy at a pet shop or at a tackle shop, anything non toxic and the size of their mouths is a basic rule of what to feed them... i reccomend live crickets, dusted like the previous poster stated, and earthworms, those insects are quite healthy, you can mix it up as you please... their arent too many fish where bulls live in the wild and unless she has space to really swim around and be quick i doubt she will eat the fish, if she eats one ever i will be suprised, fish are small quick and slippery... put some crickets up on the land portion of her cage and put some stuff for the crickets to climb out of the water when they get in so they dont drown and foul the water,

the like to watch them hop around and then eat them, they will need alot too. fun to watch. get some feeding tongs and teach the frog that the tongs hold deliscious treats and it will be even more fun for you, but unless you take a fish out of water and hold it in front of the frog (something you only do if you know she will eat it) then just feed the fish, fish sort of bring color to tanks so its always to keep them with frogs, as long as you dont get attatched, cause there is always a chance... hehe, i have a minnow in my fishtank cause it wasnt eaten while it was small enough and i couldnt bring myself to feed it to anything after it was that big, its a funny thing
