| Hi all, We have acerage in Central Florida and I have had a large pet sulcata for many many years. We lost him due to a house fire. We have a new home with land and I am looking for another large sulcata. It will have pasture, heated tortoise house and a great home. I am in Cental Florida. Thank you, Jill

You can check your local craigslist.com and post a classified for a sulcata. I am sure there is at least one person who took in a sulcata on an impulse and now regrets it.

| I have a 6 y/o male, sulcata tortoise. As a result of a rescue, I have been caring for him for the past 5 1/2 years. as a result of a rescue. I live in Oregon, and this means my sulcata must live in a pen during the winter months, and he has outgrown his inside pen. He has a 60 X 24 foot outside pen, which he loves being in during the summer. I would like for him to go to an experienced sulcata owner, who lives in the southern region of the US. He has been hand fed since he arrive here. He comes when he is called, everytime! He is very social and needs companionship with people and safe animals. His name is "Turley". Please contact me if you are still looking for a sulcata. Scott

| Hi, We are a nature center in Southwest Michigan. We also have a rescue sulcata who is about 8 years old. It is getting very difficult to house him during our snowy winters and, although our center visitors would miss, I'm sure he would love Florida. We would even be willing to transport him there. Let us know. Sarett Nature Center

| i have a large male sulcata that i have had for 5 years. i house him in a 10x10 pen in the summer but i am going to have to sell him. He eats veg., loves tomatoes, and romaine lettuce and i feed him mazuri tortoise diet daily. I have always housed him inside in the winter, but he's not happy inside and needs to be where he can be outside year round. i am asking 500 for him. he's 35-40 lbs large and healthy and not at all scared of people. if interested you can e-mail me at eniWalk7@aol.com">DeniWalk7@aol.com or call me at (706) 375-8190 thanks denise
