So, you have a whites tree frog, blue gliding frog and crested gecko in the same tank and want to add a budgett's? I really hope I am wrong.

Well it will only happen once i get a larger tank. I cant fit a budgetts frog in with the other 3. There is not enough room.

So they are in individual cages right now? But you are moving them into one tank once you get a big one (which I would say a big NO to)?

No. The Whites, Gliging frog and Crestie r in 1 tank together. Then once they r transfered 2 a larger tank, i would put the budgetts frog in.

Oh. I would really suggest moving them all into individual enclosures. It must be very stressful for them (gliding frogs are especially stress-prone). I am surprised the White's have not eaten the other tank mates, they must not be big enough. Herps are herps not community fish and if you can not provide adequate housing then you should not have gotten more herps and I would wait until you have enough money to give each animal an enclosure before you go and buy another one.

So u know... They have been living together 4 6 months now with no problems. None have gotten sick and they all seem happy and healthy. As long as i keep the humidity level up, everyone is happy! Oh, and my Whites tree frog is fully grown. He has shown no signs of eating the others b/c they r to big 2 fit in his mouth!

I must say herpdude is very correct.  If you really think about it, six months is not that long compared to those animals fifteen to twenty year lifespans.  There is still plenty of time for things to go wrong.  And I can almost guarantee you that something will eventually happen if you do not change their living situation.

A twenty gallon tall for the White's tree frog, a ten gallon for the gliding frog, and a twenty gallon tall for the crested gecko will provide adequate housing for each.  You could even add another of the same species to each tank if you want.

And about the Budgett's frog, they could definitely not live in any mixed tank, or even with other Budgett's frogs.  They are cannabalistic, plus, they will eat any other frog or lizard that can fit in their mouth (which can fit more than you would think).  Did you see that baby Budgett's frog eat the tadpole that was the same size as it on the Aqualand Pets Plus page?  Imagine what an adult could fit in their mouth.  So, no, just keep the Budgett's frog (and preferably all of your reptiles alone).

Aestivation is similar to brumation; it is cooling off an animal in the winter to stimulate the coming of spring, and the coming of breeding season.  Budgett's frogs require it to breed, but not to thrive.

Aestivation is similar to brumation; it is cooling off an animal in the winter to stimulate the coming of spring, and the coming of breeding season. Budgett's frogs require it to breed, but not to thrive.

I know this is an old thread, but I just came across it and wanted to correct some information. This is based on my own experience keeping and breeding all three species of Budgett's frogs over the course of nearly 20 years, as well as the experience of other longtime Budgett's frog keepers I know.

Budgett's frogs do actually require aestivation to thrive long-term in captivity, whether one intends to breed them or not. If deprived of the opportunity to aestivate for long periods of time, Budgett's frogs suffer a marked decrease in overall health and lifespan, and become highly susceptible to serious (usually fatal) respiratory infection and stress-related illness. This is one of the main reasons why they're not recommended for beginners.

Skipping aestivation for a year here and there might not cause a major issue (though the risk is still there), but multiple consecutive deprivations should definitely be avoided. These are the only common "pet" frogs that I'm aware of that should be aestivated in captivity as part of regular maintenance.
